Balakrishna pulls up socks, tours Krishna district
TDP
leader and son of legendary politician, Nandamuri Balakrishna will tour
Krishna district today and tomorrow. This tour is presumably aimed at
strengthening TDP further. Notably, actor Balakrishna after he plunged
into politics said he would contest for MLA seat from Krishna district.
Since TDP has strong hold in Krishna district and NTR also hailed from
same place, chances will obviously be more bright for TDP to sweet seats
in this district for both assembly and parliament constituencies, said
observers.
However,
it looks like Balakrishna doesn't want to leave any stone unturned. He
apparently wants to boost even the party cadre in this region.
Therefore, he's apparently taking out this tour. With Balakrishna
pulling up his socks, it's really going to be tough time for Congress
party to maintain its power in Krishna district. Fielding
Purandareshwari from Vijayawada for parliament seat would be the ideal
move for Congress party, as per the observers. Let us wait and see what
step Congress will take to put a check to TDP's smart moves!
