Shankar Rao Arrested

Shankar Rao arrested

Shankar Rao arrested
Former minister Shankar Rao arrested by Hyderabad police this evening. He was taken into the custody in connection with alleged irregularities that he indulged in Green Field land. The police, who filed IPC sections 120 (B), 420, 367 and 468 cases. He was shifted to Neredmet police station in the city. The case was reportedly filed by one Chandrashekar at Malkajgiri police station in the city.
Shankar Rao family members have alleged that the police behaved in an improper way as they didn't even let Shankar Rao change his clothes. The visuals shows by various TV channels also show how Shankar Rao was being taken into custody and he was shown adjusting his lungi and his shirt was unbuttoned.

Shankar Rao in hospital

 Shankar Rao in hospital

Former minister Shankar Rao, who was arrested by Hyderabad police, last night in connection with a land scam in the city, developed health complications, which made the police shift him to Care hospital in Banjara Hills this morning. Doctors have said that Shankar Rao underwent mental tensions and he was attacked by diabetes. Further, his blood pressure levels dropped drastically and showed difficulties in breathings, added doctors.
It is known that Shankar Rao was arrested in alleged inhumane manner with police leaving no scope for the legislator to change even his clothes. In fact, he was in a lungi, which was almost coming down and unbuttoned shirt. This act, which was telecast, on news channels reportedly created uproar among political circles. Danam Nagender, who reacted on the issue, has said that necessary action would be taken against the cops for arresting an MLA this way. He even termed the treatment Shankar Rao received as unfortunate. Further, Danam said the arrest was made without the knowledge of chief minister Kiran Kumar and he wrote a letter to CM urging to take action against responsible police officers.
Anyway, one has to wait and watch how chief minister is going to respond on this and why an MLA was arrested this way.

telangana-issue1

CM warns KCR & Co: KCR's speech at Samara Deeksha was literally unbearable for the Congress leaders. The TRS supremo lashed out at state and center and spared none of his vociferous campaigns. In fact even the Prime Minister or the UPA Chairperson were spared. While none of the leaders from the T Congress side had any objections for the denigrating remarks, the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana felt remorse over the incident.

CM openly slammed the TRS Chief over the issue and said that talking ill of the PM must not be encouraged. On the other hand, the worst affected T ministers in the state cabinet bore the major brunt in silence.

telangana-issue1

KTR questions CM's statements: TRS youth leader K T Ramarao retorted heavily on the comments made by the CM against his father. He ascertained that to get into the good books of the high command the 'sealed cover CM', has no stature to disregard the chief of a massive protest who is backed by large section of people. KTR was outlandish on the CM and added that the CM could not even get the backing of his home district MLAs and he has no moral grounds to talk about his father.

Telangana is a sensitive issue that needs to be addressed immediately. People's demand is the most important yardstick in democracy and if that is true the division is the solution. But for a noble cause the dirty slangy verbal wars only dilute the main issue. Because ultimately whether it is T or AP, all of us are Indians and we got to live in harmony before and after T formation.

telangana-issue1

Case on KCR: Who has the guts to bell the cat is what I sense on this present situation prevailing between the Congress T leaders and TRS. While the TRS supremos lashed out with a dozen dirty slangy speeches on the Congress leaders from T. On the other hand, the T Congress wants to file a complaint against the TRS supremo for his unlimited provoking statements.

But the question is who would have the guts to do it, if it is an individual affair, they would have to face the public ire. And if it is a collective affair their electoral gains are sure to be affected. Already its is abuzz that the Seemandhra is in favor of the YSRCP and Congress has lost all hopes. With this complaint, Congress needs to wash its hands off from this part of the country. Hence Congress would never take this self-hurting step, claim critics. So is this the 'paper tiger' story?

Tug Of Words On The Bifurcation

Tug of Words on the bifurcation: PoliTicking Wishesh

Tug of Words on the bifurcation: PoliTicking Wishesh

Namaskaram andi!

The ongoing verbal duels on the T state tug of words on the bifurcation between the Telangana and Seemandhra leaders seems to be going overboard with both the sides erasing the wafer thin boundaries of the 'freedom of speech.' Before we take a plunge into who said what, it is imminent that the leaders are supposed to set standards and if this is what we have to hear from them,  it is disappointing and agonising. This is just the lighter side of the issue while no harm is intended to anyone.

Congress high Command decides that it is high time to look into the solution after dillydallying with emotions of both the sides. The core committee meeting headed by the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi at Delhi had the participation of the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, union ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad, Chidambaram, Anthony, Susheel Kumar Shinde and many others. According to sources the mounting crisis on both sides is forcing the central government to take a firm decision over the issue, if not on January 28, at least in the first week of next month.

T rejects 'Jai Andhra meet': Congress MP from T, Ponnam Prabhakar claims that the Andhra MP Undavalli Arun Kumar is a flesh worker, over his statements in the 'Jai Andhra Pradesh' meet held recently at Rajahmundry.  In addition many leaders from the T region cutting party lines slammed the Rajahmundry meet. TRS leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy also flared at the Rajamundry MP that he was chameleon and changed his colors as per needs. He also ascertained that if the government plans to open a 'rowdy sheeter' on T students the whole state would turn into war fare.

Botsa in a soup: Amidst all this confusion, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana was in for a toss. On an invitation from the Seemandhra leaders, he attended the Rajahmundry meet. But T leaders of the Congress party expressed that the leader was common to the entire state and he should have avoided the meet, as it was held by section of the state and not a common one. By doing so,  Ponnam Prabhakar claims, Botsa has lost the credibility of being a leader for the entire state. It showed his support for the other side. On the other hand the PCC chief defended his action as he had just visited the meet as a friend, which most disagree from the T side.

Undavalli retort: Undavalli immediately addressed the media and said that his words at the 'Jai Andhra meet' were misinterpreted. He said that though he was not against the T formation but the solution must be achieved through dialogue and not through protests, was his explanation. He also said that he could understand the feelings of the leaders of the other side but explained that he meant no harm to them. Undavalli also stressed that he would abide by the high command's decision on the issue.

However after a long silence, Undavalli's vociferous statements at the meet really surprised many. This also lead to a wide speculations that he could have been a mouth piece to a prominent force from the national capital. If it is true who could be the kingpin in the verbal slang.

T struggle is not a kids ploy: Another senior leader V Hanumantha Rao also reacted sharply to the Rajahmundry meet, he said that the statements made by Undavalli were very amateurish. The senior leader also ascertained that the T struggle was not a child's play and had many sacrifices by renowned persons of the region.

Disgrace to the state: America warns visits to AP: The American government has issued warnings to persons visiting the state till February 04, owing to the possible tensions on T issue. It may be remembered that once a visit of the American premier was filled with a schedule to the hi-tech city, due to its IT importance. But now this warning is surely a disgrace to the state.

On the whole, tensions on both sides are escalating due to political fueling. An amicable dialogue is out of question but an amicable solution is within the reach of the ruling party, which instilled the present feud. (Wishesh AarKay)

Andhra Political Fervor

Andhra political fervor, mercury rise in Delhi : Politicking Wishesh

Hope you are enjoying your special exclusive from Wishesh. Before you get into hectic schedules, we try to bring out how public like you & me feel about the present happenings. This is just the lighter side of the issue while no harm is intended to anyone. This section includes gossips from the grapevine for reader enrichment. Do send in your comments or criticism for us to give you the best...........(Wishesh AarKay)

Political-fiver2

Andhra politics raises Mercury levels in Delhi: Unable to predict what will happen about the impending Telangana issue, leaders from either sides are perplexed. During the Jaipur conclave many leaders from both regions met the union minister Vayalar Ravi over the issue, but were stumped with the questions posed by the minister. If things are correct as per speculations, Congress is approving a plan on the lines of 'Telangana Territorial Administration,' but Rayalaseema might be deprived, feel critics.

To discuss over the issue the Seemandhra leaders and the Telangana leaders are to meet the union minister separately in the evening. The issue will heat up with clear indications from the center over the announcement in favor of T state well before the specified date, January 28. Probably the announcement might come around January 26, before the union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde  leaves for a two day visit to Bangladesh. In spite of wide speculations over a three state formula, things are very much uncertain and only on the 'D' day, everything would be crystal clear on the issue.

Political-fiver2

Babu's T mantra belittled by both sides: The TDP party supremo N Chandrababu Naidu's T mantra does not seem to strike chords with leaders of either sides. On one side, Seemandhra leader and Vijayawada MP, Lagadapati Rajagopal expressed that the TDP leader was betraying the people on this side by giving his consent on Telangana issue.

By this the TDP leader must garner some good support from leaders on the other side, as he was supporting their demand. However in actual, the situation varies. TRS leader and Siddipet MLA, Harish Rao voices a different opinion.

On his massive walkathon, Vastunna Mee Kosam, TDP leader reached the Krishna district. In this context, Lagadapati made the comments. Referring to the issue TRS leader said that both the leaders are playing a drama and have cheated the Telangana people. Poor Babu he is at the taking end, these days.

Political-fiver2

Compromise or forget T: The Union Minister for Science and Technology, Earth Sciences, S Jaipal Reddy, who was silent since sometime, seems to have conducted a private meeting with his close acquaintances over the Telangana issue. As per the grapevine, the minister was hopeful of the T announcement as scheduled on January 28 or even before. He also ascertained that some compromises have to be accepted to make it real. Adding that if the process was delayed now then the rest would again become history and one never knows when such an amicable stage would be set in.

As for the compromises, the leader expressed that a common capital for some years and sharing of major rivers, must be accepted by the leaders of this side. Only by letting go certain things Telangana would become a reality. Something seems to be brewing in the Congress head quarters in favour of the T state formation and this could be an indication too, feel critics. As the minister was never such confident over the sensitive issue.

Hyderabad Turns Thorn In T Dreams

Hyderabad turns thorn, in T dreams?: Politicking Wishesh

Hyderabad turns thorn, in T dreams?: Politicking Wishesh

Namaskaram andi!

Hope you are enjoying your special exclusive from Wishesh. The predominant issue of the day is that the two day 'Chinthan Baithak Conclave', held after a gap of nine years in Jaipur, disappoints T aspirants. The session that started on Friday had no mention over the demands for bifurcation, which kept T leaders sleepless over the night and will it address today, is their anticipation. However star predictions, say otherwise...........(Wishesh AarKay)

T issue narrows down to Hyderabad: We want a separate state, was the anthem of the Telangana leaders and when the center plans to unfold a draft of the formation, now the problem surrounds the capital region. It is since years after the former Chief Minister and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu came to power that Hyderabad started developing with people from far flung areas planning a better lifestyle, sold agrarian property and bought real estate in the city to settle down here. Through this cyclic process the seekers and the sought after also flourished equally. But now they becoming settlers in their own land seems to irk them.

However Telangana elected representatives of the GHMC area demanded a separate Hyderabad. They briefed that apart from Telangana and Seemandhra people, the city boasts of a rich heritage of people across the country. To help them live happily a separate status was needed to this city.  There are rumors that the Congress is planning on the same lines.

Will the 3-state formula help Congress: In all probability the three state formula devised by the high command might not do any favour for the Congress in the immediate future and worse as time runs by, feel critics. Firstly, YSRCP is all set to sweep the polls in Seemandhra, as per surveys and reports. Then without Hyderabad, Telangana is unacceptable to T leaders and if it is imposed, will refrain from voting for Congress to express their ire over the 3 state formula.
The rest is Hyderabad which is negligible at the parliament level.  On the other hand if the state has to be divided on two state formula, there is stiff resistance from Hyderabad and Seemandhra. Under these situations the T issue, courtesy to our former home minister, is some what like 'Padma Vyuham' as in the great Hindu epic Mahabharata. In this type of war fare there is only entry and no exit for the fearless warrior Abhimanyu.  Congress is in similar situation claim critics at the moment.

Win elections from Hyderabad, no more talk against bifurcation: The Vijayawada MP and senior Congress leader Lagadapati is one person who knows how to keep spot light on self without spending a penny (off the records on a lighter vein). He is known for his outlandish speech even before others muster courage to give a faint 'no', on pertinent issues. In continuation to the TRS supremo partially planning to go for a referendum on Hyderabad, the Vijayawada MP lashed out at the later.

Lagadapati challenged the KCR to win from the Hyderabad constituency and prove that Hyderabadis want to be a part of Telangana state. He said, that the day the TRS leader wins the polls, he would never talk about the unified state. Great got to see how the TRS camp would like to revert to this challenge? On the whole Hyderabad becomes the hot bed of political uncertainties. Will it be with Andhra or be with Telangana or be on its own is an unanswered question as of now? Let us wait and watch.

Ashamed Of Being A Congress Man

Ashamed of being a Congress man?: Politicking Wishesh

Ashamed of being a Congress man?: Politicking Wishesh

Namaskaram andi!

Hope you are enjoying your special exclusive from Wishesh. First on the agenda is our homage to the departed legendary leader who strived for the masses during his tenure as the Chief Minister of the state for three consecutive teems between 1984- 1995, N T Rama Rao the founder of TDP. The visionary leader was no short of a divine miracle in bringing back smiles on the faces of the weaker sections with his Rs2 per a kilo of rice. He is respected and revered by the public even to this day on his 17th death anniversary. His rule was the golden period in Telugu era known as Rama Rajyam.' Wishesh bows to the leader who was a legend in the tinsel world and in the political arena, equally. There was none before or after like him. Sir, we await your rebirth to give us another glimpse of such a rich saga. .......................(Wishesh AarKay)

Ashamed of being a Congress man?: Many Congress leaders from Seemandhra expressed their discontent over strong signals from the central high command that T state formation is on the anvil. Reacting sharply to such issues many leaders openly spoke their dissent over the issue. However one leader a sitting MLA from Pedana, Krishna district had gone overboard with his quotes.

Jogi Ramesh voiced his ire on the Congress high command over its alleged proposal to bifurcate the state. He warned that their would be mass resignations of Seemandhra leaders from the party after any such announcements. Not staying at that point he also claimed that they would teach the party, a lesson. He added that he was  ashamed of being in Congress. This was something that would not go down well with the seniors, if this statement is recorded, claim political whiz.

Settlers have come in search of a living, now they want to stakes!: The TRS leader and senior member of the KCR clan, K T Ramarao claimed that Seemandhra leaders came as settlers to Hyderabad for a living and they have started to stake their claim on the city which is a part of the Telangana that TRS dreamy of. Is it right on the part of the senior leader to voice in such disgrace manner. This leader was born in Siddipet to parents who had generations back, migrated to these parts.
KTR did his education in Guntur and worked in US. With such a diverse background his narrow talks surprised many. Politically fighting for a cause is a different issue and branding Seemandhra people as 'settlers' is indigestible felt many. Leaders who aspire to don dominant role in the near future must edit their speeches as their words are Commandments to the masses.

Referendum on Hyderabad, TRS consents!: Owing to the speculation over making the state capital as a union territory there are rumors doing the rounds that the TRS supremo K Chandrashekar Rao is prepared for a referendum to judge the mass opinion on the issue. The need arises after many leaders of the GHMC demanded a separate Hyderabad cutting party lines.
It is quite surprising that the leader opts for this choice as till date there is not much on records about leaders from Hyderabad participating in the Telangana agitation. And in this situation does he bank on the OU students and T JAC government officers who supported the agitation to be in his favour. However referendum would mean only elected leaders opinion poll. Will his ambition of uniting Hyderabad with the rest of Telangana come true?

United We Fall, Divided We Stand Is T Anthem

United we fall, divided we stand is T anthem: Politicking Wishesh

Namaskaram andi!

Hope you are enjoying your special exclusive from Wishesh. So back from your Sankranti vacations, hope all of you enjoyed the celebrations. Before you get into hectic schedules, we try to bring out how the public like you & me feel about the present happenings. This is just the lighter side of the issue while no harm is intended to anyone. This section includes gossips from the grapevine for reader enrichment. T-anthem01

United we fall, divided we stand is T anthem: Well over the years India a land with diverse cultures had emphasized on the tag line that 'Unity in Diversity.' But the situation in Andhra Pradesh is slightly different, the state is reeling under acute pressure for a division which seems to be at the moment on the agenda of the central government, as well. On one side the Telangana leaders are fighting for carving out a separate state from the unified Andhra Pradesh. On the other side, we have Seemandhra leaders struggling to keep the state united.

To the common man does a division make any difference, not much only his mobile bills might increase as he will be in roaming. Are our brethren from either sides have not been working in other states and countries too. Nevertheless is is just the power hungry tribe that is gambling with the sentiments. Every one wants his way and wants to take credit at the cost of the common loss. While the Seemandhra 'Naayaks' want to safe guard their interests, which are in abundant, in the T region. The T 'Naiks' want to usurp the well developed real estate.

On the whole, every one has his own goal but the irony is that in the name of agitation they ruin their own assets, which would push the region back by many years in development. Whether Andhra or T, India is one and we are all Indians, that is the permanent fact.

T-anthem02

Seemandhra leaders meet in Hyd: After the centre showing interests to divide the state, worried Seemandhra leaders who failed to convince the high command to refrain from separate the state, are holding a meeting in Hyderabad to chart their plans to oppose the move. However they are opposed by Their T counterparts who do not want them to hold meetings in Hyderabad.

Till today Hyderabad is the capital of the unified state and the Leaders from other side do have rights to hold a meeting in any part. If it is a four-walled meet, it is the discretion of the participants to voice their own opinion on any issue under the sun, at least that is what we call as democracy.

T-anthem03

We want Hyd State: With Congress sending feelers for T formation, another issue seems to rock the region. Many leaders of the state capital want the GHMC area to be demarcated as a separate state. They expressed that Hyderabad was a place of living for many migrants of various states across the nation and hence cosmopolitan in nature. By making it separate entity all their interests would be safe guarded. This opinion had been supported by many industrial bigwigs too, and seems to be an approved thought lingering in the minds of the leaders of the either sides, as well.

However the the T JAC Supremo Prof Kodanadaram was vehemently opposing any such move and said that there is no compromise in Telanagana with capital as Hyderabad. So after the T issue, Hyderabad row is sure to rock the state for some time since January 28, when the Centre would announce its decision on the precarious issue. On the whole, this T solution is surely not going to bring respite to Hyderabadis as the next one is brewing already.

Confused Political Situation!

Confused political situation!

Confused political situation!

Anyone who tries to analyze the political situation of the state, chances are more that he might end up getting confused. And it's not that he's not a good analyst but the current politics in the state that are confused to the core and in turn confusing the people in the state. Looking at various political personalities, one doesn't know how to react or what to expect.

On one hand, we have TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu who is going ahead with his padayatra, busy taking on the government and promising on fascinating things. Is it a kind of sign that whatever happens will happen, let me make the most out of the current situation to come back to the power? A question for which there's probably no answer.

Jagan-mohan-reddy

On the other side, we have Jagan who's slowly losing his image in the public with his sister Sharmila's padayatra falling flat in the public. What about people who are believing that Jagan could make the difference in next elections? They are confused as year 2014 is just 12 months away and Jagan seemed to be settled in jail.

Congress-Party

Coming to Congress, God alone know what many leaders in this party wants. Every other leader in Congress wants to become a chief minister? That could be the reason why some leaders from the party are now demanding Hyderabad to be made a state. Thank God they didn't demand two states—Hyderabad and Secunderabad. And scripting of resignation drama too seems to be on as Seemandhra leaders are busy holding meetings for exerting pressure on the government.

There's one more party-MIM-which is publicly saying that chief minister of the state is its enemy. Not to forget Lok Satta party, which has just one legislator. JP has good ideology but it looks like people have forgotten him because he's no where in the news and people usually remember those who make it to the news. So, what's going to happen to state politics by 2014? Who will come adorn CM throne in the coming elections? TDP or Congress or YSRCP or any other alternative? It's a rhetoric question People themselves are reportedly confused as to which party thinks of their welfare because people are apparently fed up with resignation dramas, illogical demands and blackmailing politics. Anyway, let us hope for the best and propagate the peace!

Is rapport with MIM creating problems for YSRCP: It is a known fact that (MIM) Owaisi clan and YSR clan, vibe well and share a good relationships. Another fact is that YSR Congress is gaining prominence in the Telangana region. These are two different incidents with one common reaction. The YSRCP seems to be getting into a murky situation on this.

While the TRS seems to be blaming the YSRCP over Akbaruddin's 'hate' speech, even has been overheard as blaming Jagan Mohan Reddy being instrumental for the issue. On the contrary, YSRCP  denied the whole allegation and equally condemned the issue, though after a hiatus. The delay had let the tongues wag, feel critics.

Like-father02

Like father..... like son: Nara Chandrabbu Naidu and his son Lokesh are people who talk the same word in different languages. Like the father tries his best to woo rural voters by his fiery speeches,  and the modern younger leader takes to his twitter account to address his literate brethren. On the other hand, media gives prominence to both campaigning leaders, with due credence. About the seniors, Vastunna Mee Kosam, crossing 1,500 kms, Lokesh expressed no surprise but admired the determination of the 63-years-old veteran, to fight for people. That sounds great!

On the contrary, men on the ruling side claim that the leader has granted 'impossible' boons to the public, enroute his padayatra. The veteran on his massive walkathon had been promising the moon for which is is little known whether the party has done some homework or if its just to garner support.

However critics felt a little uncomfortable with the schemes announced by the TDP and were short of words to express why the leaders had not implemented such welfare programs during the earlier nine year rule. Had he done it...he would not have been dethroned at all.

Like-father03

Blaming game: Congress and TDP go all out, without reasons, to lash at each other at every , to gain political mileage and have a dig. While the TDP is strongly holding on to its placard about the corruption in ruling party, Congress looks for various reasons.

The other day political statement by PCC Chief Botsa became a joke to the onlookers. The leader blamed the TDP over the delay of the T issue. Probably he was mentioning about the U-turn taken by TDP in 2009, after Congress hinted over Telangana formation. But to talk about it now was meaningless, felt many present over there.

Particularly after the ruling party's two member team expressed two opinions on the issue at the all-party-meet held in Delhi. In fact Congress was the only party that behaved differently while all others expressed pro-T opinions. Among all  TDP's stand was most appreciated by contemporaries cutting party lines. Yet, Botsa took an older instance to revive the blame game.

Padayatara Special

Padayatara Special: Politicking Wishesh

Padayatara Special: Politicking Wishesh

Namaskaram andi!

Hope you are enjoying your special exclusive from Wishesh.  This is just to bring out the lighter side of the issue while no harm is intended to anyone. This section includes gossips from the grapevine for reader enrichment. In today's columns we shall discuss about Padayatra political saga for garnering public vote, various thoughts expressed by leaders on the ongoing trends.  Do send in your comments or criticism for us to give you the best..............(Wishesh AarKay)

Padayatra1History of Padayatra: Probably Padayatra or walkathon's started long ago, but those days they were part of human life as an efficient mode of transport was not available. But now a days it has become a way to enlighten public and to assure them of ones availability. Those days due to lack of proper transport they used to walk, but these days our leaders walk as their air conditioned, well-equipped vehicles follow them enroute.

TDP doyen and founder N T Ramarao, was the known modern leader who started this mass contact program of reaching the public with his bus yatra in the early 80's and that made him the first non-congress Chief Minister to rule the state in 1983.

Padayatra2Then we had the late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy who embarked on a walkathon in 2003 covered 1475 km during hot summers covering 33 constituencies. The event Prasthanam, reinstated Congress in power after a long gap in 2004. and since then has been ruling the state.

Padayatra3And now our TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu embarked on Vastunna Mee Kosam and has successfully gone past YSR by completing 1500kms covering 40 constituencies. Babu wanted to enlighten the corrupt practices of the ruling party that had led to the downfall of the state in amny ways.

Padayatra4On the other hand YSR's daughter, Sharmila also went on a Padayatra, 'Maro Prasthanam' but had to cut short the journey due to an injury. Sharmila wanted to highlight the ways her brother was detained on vindictive stances by the ruling party hand-in-glove with the opposition.

Padayatra5The irony was that a 60+ old veteran with all complications like diabetes and BP is able to walk healthy and cover 1500 kms while a young woman who was hale and healthy had cut short her walkathon citing injury. Anyways we have to move on to discuss what the leaders are feeling about these yatras.

Padayatra6Babu's Padayatra is just for records: YSRCP MLA, Gadikota Srikanth Reddy expressed that Babu's padayatra was only for records. He also criticized the senior leader for embarking on a 'morning walk' type walkathon. If Babu's walk is as the leader describes than what should Sharmila's yatra be called as?

Padayatra7No-crowd Padayatra: Congress chief whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy claimed that Babu's padayatra was a n-crowd padayatra. While in reality media images revealed large gatherings at each of the meetings of the veteran enroute. The Congress leader adds that the party activists are struggling to bring in crowds. He also claimed that Babu's event was mainly to avoid many political embarrassing situations, for which he had no answer and divert public attention.

Padayatra8On the whole, at the moment Babu has bettered all records and is leading all the way. However in comparison to the salient points that were achieved by YSR and Babu while in rule, the former had opted for people's welfare while the later opted for infrastructure development (http://www.andhrawishesh.com/home/hot-buzz/36366-babu-becomes-maha-netha-.html).

Both were right and visionaries, in their own perspective. Hope we get the next leader who is a right blend of these two stalwarts.

PCC1

Will PCC Sadasu be for Samaikya Andhra?

The sudden postponement of the massive Congress plenary at Vijayawada, came as a surprise to many in the elite circles. The regional meeting was the second in series and the first one was held at the capital, last month. The chaotic atmosphere created by the Telangana groups did not allow the core committee to formulate vital issues, in the first one. With the demand for separate state growing, probably at Vijayawada, Congress leaders this time fear to listen the music of the unified Andhra activists.

However with Congress high command planning in favor of state partition with some special powers, might not see welsome sign at Vijayawada, where the hard core unified state activists are in abundance. This could be a concern for the high command and hence planned a convenient self imposed reasonless delay. But if this is the situation at the moment, then what will happen during the 2014 general elections in Seemandhra region? Will Congress make over by then to regain public vote?

 PCC2

Owaisi senior in embarrassing situation

Young Akbaruddin Owaisi's 'hate' speech has attracted national ire. After staying calm for quite sometime the state police have at last booked cases on Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA. He is right now away in London and the cops plan to alert Interpol, in case he does not return in the near future.
An alleged online video wherein Akbaruddin, was seen using inflammatory and derogatory words against a particular community, while addressing a public meeting (MIM Jalsa) at Nirmal town of Adilabad district, had been the reason.

However the issue is sure to irk the senior Asaduddin Owaisi, Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad. Asaduddin known for his earlier weird attacks had turned very polite after becoming a parliamentarian and this will sure embarrass the senior by all means. The 'hate' speech episode seems to have attracted the dissent of local Muslim clergy aswell. This could be the main concern of worry, for the senior. Though controversies are not new to the MIM, this time feeling the heat from its own turf is a hurdle for the senior leader, who visions, a national platform for the party.

Mother's love voices against the disparity:

YSR Congress honorary supremo lashed out at the investigating agencies and the nation's set up over detaining her son and party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at Chanchalguda for so long. While addressing a meet at Patancheruvu in Hyderabad, Mother's love voiced against the disparity shown on her son. She recalled that when crores of rupees was found under the beds of the union minister's daughter, no action was taken. Numerous complaints against the TDP supremo were unheeded as he supported the ruling party. However her son was the prime target as he opposed the ruling party.

Though the appeal had issue, most cases against the supremo were legally incorrect and about the union minister's case, investigation is on and law should be taking its course.

As a veteran quoted, in the eyes of law all are equal. However, few others speculate that only electoral gains can get the YSRCP leader, free and that is not far off either?
