Chandra Babu Naidu Indefinite Hunger Strike
Chandrababu
expressed his sorrow for the double game politics being played by the
Congress party. He said that a letter was given in favor of the
Telangana when the people of Telangana wanted it. He is blamed for
giving such a letter by the Congress party leaders of Seemandhra and the
letter is mentioned here but they say that I am becoming obstruction
for the process of the formation of Telangana state. He said that it is
only double standard game played by the congress party.
The
Telugu Desam Party President Chandra Babu Naidu is going on indefinite hunger strike from 7th onwards at Delhi. He talked to the media
representatives at his residence on Friday.
Chandra
Babu said that the people of Seemandhra are protesting for the last 65
days and Congress party is showing apathy for an agitation that size and
long from all walks of life.
He finds
fault with the Congress party that is not all making any attempt to call
the agitating people’s representatives to know the reasons for their
protests. He questioned how the people will confide in the Congress
party which even is not calling to know the facts from the mouth of the
agitating people.
Chandra Babu said that the Congress party is ignoring people and believing only match fixings with KCR an Jagan.
He
recalls that in the past the State divisions took 3 to 4 months to
complete. Now Congress party says that the process will be done in 40
days. Chandra Babu asks what is the hurry if it is not for a political
gain.
Chandrababu
said that Jagan previously wrote to Congress party that the division
should be done as per article of the Constitution and Congress party
followed it. Now Jagan is singing Samaikya raga. No body blames Sonia
Gandhi. Every one criticizes me as I wanted a thorough discussion on
the issue. He asked whether Sonia Gandhi is taking the right path.
Chandrababu
also explained that at the time Telangana agitation, the movement was
going on and so he did not comment on that. Now as the decision is
taken for the bifurcation of the State he is talking about the
consequences of it.
