BJP Leaders Sad At Advani's Resignation
BJP
National Chief Secretary Muralidhara Rao said that the services rendered
by L.K.Advani and A.B.Vajpaye are valueless and the party became strong
only with their hard work. He said that the resignation of Advani is
very painful and he will only wish that the BJP will come out of this
hard time.
Another
senior leader of BJP and leader of the opposition in the Parliament
Sushma Swaraj expressed her grief for the supposed loss to the party due
to Advani’s resignation from all the responsibilities in the party. She
said that the seniors are trying to convince Advani to make him
withdraw his resignation.
RSS
spokesman Ram Madhav said that Advani's resignation is unfortunate. He
hoped that the attempts of the senior leaders to make him withdraw it
will be fruitful.
BJP wants
Narendra Modi to take the reins of the party's propaganda. But Advani
and some others are in the opinion that Modi although is successful in
his State as Chief Minister with a lot of good will, he is also tainted
with the Godhra incident. His visa was rejected to USA which shows his
good will is at stake from the International stand point. Advani was
totally against giving powers to Narendra Modi to lead the election
propaganda which in his opinion will give negative results to the party
the way it witnessed in Karnataka State.
We have
to wait and see what repairing measures BJP takes but Congress Party and
other UPA member parties are enjoying the situation with their hope of
success in the coming elections looking bright.
